I wasn't going to post any more videos for awhile because I felt I had done too many of late. However, I came across this one and it fits so perfectly with my previous post, I just had to post it. Besides, I think it is really beautiful! Enjoy.

Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell done for finding this in Latin. I could only find it in English and posted it a few days ago. Today however (and tomorrow) I have two Christmas hymns in Latin.
God bless.
Hello Victor
ReplyDeleteI am glad you enjoyed it. I think it is gorgeous. I've already looked into your blog and enjoyed your posting of 'Adeste Fideles'. I am awaiting tomorrow's offering. God bless you.
This is beautiful; marvelous images and devotional hymn - in Latin yet. I love hymns in Latin. It's a beautiful language and actually enhances the voice of those who sing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
Happy 2010 to you and yours. May God grant you every Holy desire of your heart.
Good Morning Maryellen

ReplyDeleteDuring advent i heard this in Latin at the Holy Family Church which is run by the Oratory fathers of St Philip Neri. It was a Sunday of recollection in preparation for Christmas. I heard it in Latin and it made me cary by the third verse. The mass was in Latin as well novus ordo but in latin.
I am truly blessed to be just about an hour away from the oratory church.
Good morning Smiley
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you. Yes, this is really beautiful isn't it. It seems that Latin is coming back into its own again. In this area anyway, there are regular Latin Masses, etc, in some areas. I believe that one of the Sunday Masses at Westminster Cathedral in London is regularly a Latin one. Happy New Year to you Smiley and God bless you.
